Death of spouse as indicated in Horoscope

Death of husband or that of wife can occur if the indications listed below are there and there is no strong benefic influence to counteract;.

1. Jupiter when placed in its sign of exaltion becomes strongest benefic, but all that matters is the placement. Such a Jupiter if placed in 6^th house can be worst of all and becomes the killer for spouse.
    
2. Jupiter in its sign of debilition i.e. Capricorn is equally bad when occupying 6^th or 8^th and may kill the spouse.
    
3. 5^th is the house of emotion, affection or love, but when 5^th house either from Ascendant or from Moon is occupied by malefics, may either deny the marriage or may spoil the marital bliss by killing the spouse.
    
4. Virgo sign rising in Ascendant and Sun placed therein and aspected by Saturn from Pisces, i.e. 7^th house, spouse dies before native as per "Brihat Jatak".
    
5. 2^nd lord or 7^th lord with Venus or with malefic planets placed in Trikka houses(6^th, 8^th or 12^th) or in sign of debilition may result in death of more than one spouses.
    
6. Mars occupying 7^th house in navamsa of Venus (i.e. in Taurus or Libra navamsa) and 7^th lord in 5^th house is a dangerous signal.
    
7. Mars conjoins Venus in 7^th house makes one bereft of spouse. Mars in 7"¹ either separates or kills spouse.
    
8. Malefic planets occupying Ascendant, 7^th and 12^th houses and weak Moon in 5^th house, there may be no wife, if it is there she will either be barren or may not survive long.
    
9. Mars in 4^th house from Moon - kills spouse early, as it aspects 7^th house from Moon.
    
10. Mars with Rahu or Ketu in 7^th house in malefic drekana or at Rasi Sandhi (first or last degree of some sign) is bad for longevity of spouse.

Malefic drekanas are:

1. Ayudha - Aries, 1, 3, Gemini 2, 3, Leo- 3, Virgo-2, Libra-3, Sagi. -1,3
2. Sapra Drikana - 3^rd of Cancer, I^st of Scorpio, 3^rd of Pisces
3. Kola - I^st of Cancer
4. Pasa - 2^nd of Scorpio
5. Nigad - I^st of Capricorn
6. Karura - Aries (1) Cancer (2) Leo (1, 3), Scorpio (1, 2, 3), Capricorn -1 Aquarius 1, Pisces -3
   
   11. 7^th house occupied by malefics and 7^th lord also afflicted.
   
   12. 7^th house a malefic sign (i.e. sign of Mars or Saturn, occupied by Saturn may give death to partner but if Saturn is Ascendant lord or in own sign in 7^th may not kill, however if 7^th is house of Mars and is occupied by Mars, may prove fatal.
   
   13.  8^th house a malefic sign, occupied by Saturn
   
   14. 8^th house a malefic sign (i.e. sign of Saturn of Mars) and a benefic placed therein. In some cases it has been observed to give separation rather than Killing.
   
   15. Lord of 7^th joins 8^th lord in 8^th house.
   
   16. Rahu joins Saturn or Mars in 7^th or 8^th house
   
   17. Rahu in 2^nd' Mars In 7^th, may kill wife soon after marriage, or give separation.
   
   18. Cruel planets i.e. Sun Saturn or Mars in 4^th, 8^th & 12^th from Venus or Venus between malefics, and Venus is not aspected or otherwise influenced by benefics, may kill spouse by fire, weapon, fall or by hanging as is given in "Brihat Jataka".
   
   19. 7^th lord Conjoins 8^th lord in 12^th house and the malefics aspect 7^th house.
   
   20. 7^th lord in 8^th and 12^th lord in 7^th spouse may die around 20 years of marriage as per "Brihat Parasari Hora".
   
   21. 7^th house and 7^th lord subjected to papakritri Yoga i.e. surrounded by malefics.
   
   22. Mars and Venus exchange navamsa may delay, deny or create problems or even death of spouse.
   
   23. Moon with Rahu in 8^th house, with an evil planet or aspected by it i.e. other than Rahu . Rahu: Ketu in 2:8 axis from either Venus or from 7^th house. It causes separation may be by death or divorce.
